The Earth Has a Good Lawyer: Saving the Bees with Earthjustice
This is the week where I usually write about what’s on my mind. But, an email from Earthjustice about saving the bees caught my eye. So, I just had to share the good news with you, because each and every one of our customers are a part of this win for the bees!
Saving the Bees – The Win!!!
As said in their article, Earthjustice…
represented Pesticide Action Network, Center for Food Safety, and Beyond Pesticides in the lawsuit, filed in 2014. Lead attorney Greg Loarie had asked a California court to force the state Department of Pesticide Regulation to stop approving the use of neonicotinoids until it completes its review of the effects of these nicotine-derived pesticides on honey bees.

On Sept. 19, 2017, the First District California Court of Appeal rejected approval of two powerful neonicotinoid insecticides, sold under the trademarks Venom Insecticide and Dinotefuran 20SG.
