Happy Thanksgiving from Bee Wild!
Here’s the Wright family’s dog “Honey” coming to wish all our customers and readers a Happy Thanksgiving! We are grateful for it All! Thanks for including us in your life and letting us share the gifts of North Georgia Raw Honey with you!
2018 in Review: Grateful for It All!
Every year we do an inventory, reviewing our experiences, both personal and professional, with Bee Wild. This year we decided to lift the veil a bit so that you can see that we are grateful for it all – the good and the bad. Here are five of this year’s highlights:
- John Wright is spending part of his time in Northern Georgia and part of his time in Southern California. He travels back and forth each month and is diving in deeper at the Bee Farm when he’s here and loving the ocean when he is in San Diego. Who says you can’t have it all?
- We decided to focus on the farmers markets and events where our customers are responding in a vital, vibrant way. So, even though we’re appearing in less venues, our customers are getting more attention and having more fun with our team members.
- We lost one of our core team members, our cat Jumping Jack Flash, and are still getting used to team meetings without him jumping up on the table and inspecting our latest ideas. (Yes, if he didn’t like an idea, he knocked it right off the table. LOL)
- We ran our first Beekeeping Class (Urban Beekeeping 101), and it was a huge success. We will be spending some of our winter hours developing a more comprehensive urban beekeeping training. Stay tuned!
- We just revealed the winner for our Infused Honey Contest, Meyer Lemon Infused Honey. You can purchase Meyer Lemon Infused Honey at a discount online (CODE: MEYER) until midnight on Thanksgiving Day, 2018.
Notes from QueenBee
I wanted to send you a short note to help you create more of what you want right now.
Do you enjoy being here right now? If not, know that it’s your judgments about what “is” that keep you stuck where you are. When you can dispassionately look at what is going on around you and say, “Not good for me; not bad for me,” then you are at your most powerful as a creator. You can then choose to repeat an experience for fun or go in a different direction, if there is something else you want to try.
How do you kick it into neutral when you are having an experience you’re not enjoying? I use two different techniques, and you might want to try them both and see which works best for you. I
- pull out my Little Gratitude Notebook and write down everything I am grateful for right now (For help on how to create a gratitude notebook, CLICK HERE);
- ask the question (without expecting an answer), “How can I feel better right now?”
Either one of these techniques starts relaxing my body and shifting my body chemistry to a more neutral state. Let me know which technique works better for you!
