Happy New Year Prayer Box
As 2017 comes to a close, I find this is a good time to review the year with gratitude and set up the new year. For decades, I have taught people to be, do, and have more, by becoming more aware of their, and their ability to make new, choices. So, it seems fitting to give you a simple, effective tool that millions of people successfully have used to make changes.
Why Should You Consider a Prayer Box
When I clearly have awareness of what I want to create – by treasure mapping, writing my ideal day, or reviewing experiences – I have no issue letting Divine know what experiences I want to have. But, if you are like me, some situations are muddier. What happens when you aren’t so clear? What if you have no idea what an ideal experience in particular circumstances would be? What if you could get help?
Let me give you an example. Your team at work is given a project. Half of you share a vision that you just know will bring the most exciting, fruitful results. But, the other half of the team has a totally different vision of what could happen. In fact, these visions are so different from each other, there is no common ground between them. So, a power struggle begins because neither side wants to compromise. Circumstances stall out, and the project manager brings the team together and tells everyone to find commonality and create a shared vision. But, every time you meet, the teams fight over every little detail. Saner minds wish their was a way to get through the impasse, but they just can’t see how.
Well, there is a Higher Power that can see how, because Divine is not limited by time and space when creating solutions to problems or ideal experiences. That’s why in situations like this one – or when you have no idea what you want to experience or create – a Prayer Box is am amazing tool.
Happy New Year Prayer Box
A Happy New Year Prayer Box can be purchased, like the one I’m picturing here, or you can make one of your own using any small box, paints, crayons, markers, glue, and/or decorations. You put a pad of paper and a pen in the box, and voila, you have your Happy New Year Prayer Box.
How to Use Your Happy New Year Prayer Box
When you just can’t get clear on what you want to experience or are overwhelmed with choices (pleasurable or not pleasurable), just write a note to Divine (God, your Higher Power) and place it in the Prayer Box. You can ask for clarity, an example of what the choices would be like, a solution to what seems to be an insurmountable problem, whatever you can’t come into alignment (peace) with. Then, forget about it. Let Divine answer your prayer, bringing you what serves the highest and best for all concerned (yes, I truly believe that when Divine brings you what is highest and best for all concerned, you will be happy.). This truly is a “Let go and let God” tool.
When you notice that your prayer is answered, write, “Thank you.” or some other acknowledgement on the paper and put it at the bottom of the stack. (Some people will burn the paper as part of their gratitude work.) Or, you can say a prayer of gratitude.
If you use the Happy New Year Prayer Box with some discipline, you are going to find that 2018 is a year where you be, do, and have more, with more joy and ease.
