Notes from QueenBee:
Let’s Consider the Possibilities
Good afternoon! QueenBee here!!! I’m so glad to connect with you again. I want you to know that I’m going to be writing a “Notes from QueenBee” segment on the fourth Wednesday of every month. This month’s offering is near and dear to my heart, Let’s Consider the Possibilities.
Possibilities vs. Constraints
I had some heart to heart talks with John Wright, our fearless leader, when he asked me to increase my blogging presence for Bee Wild. I stopped and thought about the possibilities vs. my time constraints. Don’t you do that, too? There might be something new and exciting out there for you to try, and some part of you starts running your To Do List to see if there is time to have the experience. Then, the good old excuse, “There isn’t enough time,” rears it’s ugly head and things stay the same. Until one day, they don’t, and the change that occurs might not be something you want to experience.
If there’s anything I’ve learned over the last 30 plus years as a spiritual coach and healer, it’s that things change, whether you want them to or not. So, you might as well make some conscious choices and let the Divine know what your preferences are. That clears the way for you to have a greater range of “desired” experiences.
Empowering Questions Open Up Possibilities
Since I’m a huge believer in “walking the talk,” I didn’t use time constraints as an excuse when John asked me to write more. Instead, I asked what I call, “empowering questions.” Those are the questions that start out, “How can I…?” “What would it take…?” “How can this…?” I don’t expect to get answers. I just open up to the possibilities, stating my preferences. I’m just following the teaching, “Ask and you shall receive.”
So, you might want to know what type of questions I asked about writing more for Bee Wild. So, I thought I’d share a few:
“How can writing more for Bee Wild be fun?”
“What would it take for me to connect/interact with more readers?”
“How could we all have more fun together?”
“What would it take to create more sustainability together?”
“How could I give the best support to our readers?”
“What would it take to connect our readers with the best sustainability tools and resources in these chaotic times of change?”
I didn’t receive answers right away. But, as we continued meetings and contemplated bringing on another new team member to focus on social media, a plan started to form. With John Wright as a leader, there was enough flexibility in the writing schedule, that I can follow inspirations as I write. That kind of empowerment feels great!
Tell Us How You Consider the Possibilities
I would love to hear from you with comments, questions, or any wisdom you have to share on how considering the possibilities or using empowered questions works in your life. Feel free to leave a comment here or on our social media feeds. I’d also appreciate it if you would share this post with a friend on social media below. After all, “Sharing is Caring.”
Looking Forward to This Month’s Newsletter
Over the weekend, I’ll be sending out our July newsletter, and I’ll be sharing my writing schedule with you. As well, I’m going to introduce you to our new staff member. I am sure you’ll see her buzzing around at local events and farmers markets.
I look forward to connecting with you. Together we can build more sustainable lifestyles and influence our friends and neighbors to create more sustainability in our communities. That just has to flow into making the world a better place to live in, right?
