Hot Off the Press –
Bee Wild Sourwood Honey
Wins Good Food Award
I just got off the phone with John Wright. He called to say that Bee Wild Sourwood Honey won the Good Food Award for the Honey Category this year. Yay!!!!! John and one of our home team members attended the Good Food Awards ceremony tonight, which celebrates environmentally sound agricultural practices, good animal husbandry, and socially responsible business practices. As John Wright says:
As a third generation beekeeper, I am proud of the honey we produce. The bees have always been the CEOs at our farm, and we honor the natural way of living started by my Grandfather and continued by my Dad.
The guys will be selling honey at the Good Food Awards Mercantile and Marketplace this weekend. If you have friends or family in San Francisco this weekend, have them come around and taste the 2017 Sourwood Honey. As you know, this batch is special – we’ve never experienced Sourwood being so light and clear. Details for the weekend events appear in our press release for the events:
To celebrate this award as the fruition of so much hard work by our beekeepers and home and away teams, we are offering our 2017 Sourwood Honey at at 10% discount. Use the code “WINNER” at checkout, and the 10% discount automatically will be applied to your Sourwood Honey order.
