The Bee Wild Difference:
Bee Wild Raw Wild-Crafted Honey
Lura, our new honey bee, has been visiting our customers at local farmers markets. We have so many new customers that she asked us to reprise John Wright’s letter to our customers. In this communication, John talks about Bee Wild Raw Wild-Crafted Honey and the difference between our honeys and the “honey bears” you purchase in the store.
I am the third generation of my family connected to our raw, wild-crafted honey business. I’m very proud of the way my Father has worked with the bees, rain or shine, making sure that the honey products he approves come from bees who live life naturally. It’s such a great role model to watch — someone who appreciates that everything is connected and lives and works in a harmonious, sustainable way. I take this family business very seriously, just like he does.
But, I notice that other honey companies don’t necessarily do that. They mix and match honeys indiscriminately, mislabel, and water-down product. Other companies add sugar cane juice and other sweeteners. Their products are definitely not what Nature intended when she allowed people to collect what the honey bees made. That’s why honey in some stores is so cheap. That’s why their honey’s taste is “off.” That’s why people think honey is too sweet.
What I’ve just described to you is the Bee Wild difference. You can trust us to produce and distribute honey that’s just the way Nature intended it to be – raw, wild-crafted, unfiltered. That’s why Bee Wild’s honey is so special – the unique seasonal flavors and natural properties are intact. Each variety has it’s own distinctive notes, much like a fine wine. It’s not just honey, the same way a fine Pinot Noir isn’t just “wine.”
In fact, we are pleased to announce that our 2017 Sourwood Honey won the Good Food Award in the Honey Category. This prestigious award not only recognizes the flavor of this North Georgia favorite but also recognizes the environmentally conscious way we work with the bees to collect the honey and bring it to you.
As we expand Bee Wild, please rest assured that the same high quality, raw, wild-crafted honey will be the foundation of our product lines. You have my word on that!!!
